- Jack & Jack Stands or Lift
- Socket Set (5/16″, 3/8″, 10mm)
- Flathead Screwdriver
- Pry Bar
- Needle-nose Pliers
- New Clutch Cable (OEM or Aftermarket)
- Grease (optional for cable end)

🚗 Step-by-Step: Clutch Cable Removal
1. Safety First
- Park on a level surface.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Jack up the car and secure it with stands.
2. Remove from Pedal (Interior)
- Find the clutch quadrant above the gas pedal.
- Use a screwdriver to release spring tension.
- Slide cable loop off the quadrant tooth.
3. Unbolt from Firewall
- Locate where cable passes through firewall in engine bay.
- Remove the 5/16″ bolts and pull the cable out.
4. Unhook from Transmission Fork
- Remove dust cover (1 bolt).
- Push clutch fork forward with a pry bar.
- Unhook the cable end from the fork and remove the bracket clip.
5. Remove the Cable
- Fully extract the old cable from engine bay, following factory routing.
🔁 Installation Instructions
1. Feed New Cable Through Firewall
- Insert new cable into the firewall or adjuster housing.
- Secure the firewall plate or adjuster.
2. Attach to Clutch Pedal Quadrant
- Loop the cable end over the correct groove in the quadrant.
- Confirm pedal travel feels correct.
3. Route and Secure in Engine Bay
- Follow original path away from hot exhaust parts.
- Use zip ties or brackets to hold in place.
4. Hook into Clutch Fork
- Push fork forward and insert the cable eyelet.
- Reinstall dust shield and any retaining clips.
5. Adjust Clutch Cable Tension
- Use the firewall adjuster to remove slack.
- Target: no preload but minimal free-play.

- Reconnect the battery.
- Lower the car.
- Test clutch pedal engagement.
